About Novel International School

Established in 2013, Novel International School in Pune offers student-centric education that follows the CBSE curriculum (CBSE Affiliation no. 1130845). The evaluation of what is learned follows the CBSE Board's Universal System of Assessment, wherein periodic tests are held along with subject-enrichment activities in each term, and a term-end exam. Sports, art and craft, music, and other activities encourage students to hone their talent. The teachers of the co-ed English medium secondary school use innovative experiential methods to help students learn a subject's concepts. Audio-visual tools and screening of documentary films are valuable learning aids. Activities

Communications skills in English are developed at an early age and students of higher classes can take part in oratory competitions organized by the Literacy Club. Other clubs are those which schedule activities related to math, science and general knowledge. Other unique intra-school competitions that combine traditional Indian culture with modern trends include recitation of Shlokas, writing slogans, origami, creating posters, fancy dress and handwriting competitions, etc.

Campus infrastructure

A spacious library at Novel International School stocked with fiction, books on science and general knowledge, etc develops the interest in reading. There are 46 classrooms in all, equipped with boards to put up charts. There are labs for computers, maths, physics, biology, and chemistry subjects. Music facilities include a tabla room and there is a general activity room as well. The sports room has neatly stacked equipment for various sports and games, such as table tennis, badminton, carrom, etc. The area in front of the school building has safe play equipment for the toddlers and space for the older students for sports and games.

Students undergo health check-ups from time to time at the infirmary, such as for the eyes, dental, etc. A breakfast facility with a nutritious menu is available on a daily basis for the kids. Bus facility is provided for students, with a lady attendant on every bus.
