Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School Primary Section, Pune which is also known simply as KHS Primary, is under the umbrella organization of Kannada Sangha's Kaveri Group of Institutes (KGI). The co-ed English medium primary school up to Class IV follows the CBSE curriculum. The school hours for students of Std. I and II are from 12.35 p.m. to 5.15 p.m., and for students of Std. III and IV it is from 7.25 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
The school campus of KHS Primary has labs for computers, math, and science subjects, as well as a library, art and craft room, an audio-visual center, a music room, an auditorium, and a counselling unit.
