About Sangameshwar Public School
Sangameshwar Public School (SPS) is an English medium co-ed school under the management of the Shri Sangameshwar Education Society. The pre-primary section and the primary & middle school sections are in different academic blocks within the same locality, namely, at Saat Rasta, of Solapur city. Started initially with a pre-primary and upper primary section with its first academic session in 2015, the school expanded later, first up to Class 8 and is now up to Class IX. The school follows the CBSE curriculum, with Art and Craft, music and yoga offered as co-scholastic activities. In addition to the Morning Prayer, interesting skits, and learning a new word daily make the school Morning Assembly very enjoyable. Celebrating national days and learning about various festivals are also part of the Assembly from time to time.
A unique aspect of academics is the school's collaboration with the Academy for Creative Teaching (ACT), Bengaluru for implementing a teacher-development program. On a monthly basis, ACT's facilitator visits the school and helps the teachers to develop their teaching methodology.
