About Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School
Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School is a private boys' school from LKG to Class 10. The day-cum-boarding school offers the CBSE curriculum in English medium, and Marathi/Hindi is the language option. While the day school is from Class 1 to Class 10, the residential school is available for students of Class 6 to Class 10.
The school combines contemporary education using the relevant technology with traditional and spiritual education. Activities for students include creative writing, music, drama, art & craft, sports day, cultural programs, educational tours, etc.
Campus infrastructure and facilities The campus has large classrooms, a library, computer and science labs, a dispensary with first-aid kits, a cafeteria, drinking water facilities, puja and music rooms, sports facilities, etc. Those students who stay on the campus reside in dormitories that are equipped with all the required facilities for comfort and security, and healthy nutritious food is provided.
Admissions procedure Parents have to fill up and submit the application form for admission at the school campus itself, then attend a counselling session as per the schedule given, and this includes a tour of the campus. There is then an online test and an interaction between the school officials/teachers and the parents and their wards. Once the admission is confirmed, the student's name is registered for admission, and the parents must submit the relevant documents. The documents are-
- A copy of the Aadhar Card of the student.
- A copy of the passport in the case of admission for an international student.
- Two passport-size photos of the student.
- Documentary proof of age of the student (this should be the birth certificate for admission for classes from LKG to Grade V).
- Original transfer certificate from the previous School before reporting to this school, if applicable. Note that it is mandatory to bring a counter-signed document given by the relevant education authority in the case of admissions from outside the State or outside India.
