About Orchid Public School
Established in 1961, Orchid Public School located in Dhantoli of Nagpur District is a senior secondary school under the management of Sikshan Prasarak Mandal. Students have brought laurels to the school during selections for State-level science exhibitions and have participated regularly in District and State-level sports competitions.
School Academics The classes are-
(i) Nursery, K.G.-I, K.G.-II
(ii) Primary and Secondary - Std 1 to Std 9
(iii) Senior Secondary – Std 11 and Std 12 (CBSE permission given in December 2020).
The CBSE-affiliated co-ed English medium school provides Sanskrit and Marathi curricula from Class 5 to Class 10. At the senior secondary level, students can opt for science, commerce, or humanities. Expert faculty provide NEET and JEE coaching for students of Classes 11 and 12. Remedial classes and extra classes are provided for slow learners.
School Activities Co-curricular activities at Orchid Public School, Dhantoli include debates, story-telling competitions, joining a language club, undertaking Abacus training, and preparing for Olympiads and GK exams. Extra-curricular activities include art and craft, music and dance, coaching for skating, karate, cricket, basketball, etc.

Orchid Public School Campus facilities The classroom learning experience at Orchid Public School is enhanced by digital interactive boards. The spacious auditorium is equipped with audio-visual equipment. The large playground is conducive for sports and games and also has safe playground equipment for the kids of the junior classes. Orchid Public School Admission procedure At the time of registration for admission to Orchid Public School, parents will get a prospectus that provides all information about the school. An admission test is mandatory for students seeking admission to Class 1 and above, followed by an interaction of the school officials with the student and parents. Parents should ensure the student fulfills the age criteria for the specific class as mentioned on the school's website before applying for admission. Once admission is confirmed, the parents must deposit the requisite fee within two days, otherwise, the admission will be cancelled. At the time of admission, parents are required to submit the following documents along with the completed form for admissions-
- Two passport size photos.

- The attested Report card of the previous class.
- The original Transfer Certificate must be submitted within one month from the date of admission.
- The original character certificate for (class VII and above).
- Proof of residence.
- Caste certificate, if applicable, for SC/ ST/ OBC.
- Certificate for disability if applicable.
- The Medical fitness certificate from a Chief Medical Officer or a registered medical practitioner.
For admission to Class 11, the student has to appear for a written test in these subjects - English, Hindi, Maths, and Science followed by an interaction of the school officials with the student and parents. At the time of admission, the relevant documents mentioned above have to be submitted. In the case of admission to Class 10, only CBSE students who are transfer cases after qualifying the admission test are eligible to apply for admission. The report cards of Class 8 and Class 10 (both original and attested) have to be submitted as well.
