About Springdales School
Established in 2013, Springdales School, Rajouri, Jammu is a private Govt.-recognized CBSE-affiliated school under the management of Springdales Educational Society. The co-ed school has classes from the Kindergarten level to Class 10. In addition to gaining knowledge through academic studies, students develop their skills in multiple ways, including communication and creativity, and through value education, moral development takes place as well.
Some highlights About a year back, the school started clubs, namely, Nature & Adventure Club, Literary, and Social Outreach which students can join and for which they can take the initiative to independently organize activities. Students are members of one of four Houses, each named after a river - Tawi, Indus, Chenab and Jhelum - and they compete for the overall trophy for the best House. Students submit articles and artwork for the quarterly school magazine 'The Springer'.
A unique aspect is the colour coding of notebooks to make it easy for students and parents to identify them subjectwise. Folders for each subject are also provided to maintain worksheets, feedback reports from the teachers, achievements, projects, etc.
Springdales School Rajouri Campus infrastructure On the academic side, the school campus has large classrooms with smartboards and ICT tools, well-equipped labs for science subjects, computer labs, etc. English vocabulary and communication skills are developed through a unique program in the English lab, with special software to aid in correct pronunciation. In the Mathematics lab, students learn concepts of the subject through fun activities. Creativity comes to the fore in the spacious Art room, where new mediums and techniques of Art are taught. The library is well-stocked with not just textbooks and fiction, but also dictionaries, journals, and Encyclopedias as well. Certain books can be borrowed by students for later reading with their library cards.
On the co-curricular side, there is a wide range of facilities for outdoor games like football, netball, volleyball, cricket, athletics, and Kho-kho. Indoors, the students can enjoy a game of carom or board games like chess and Ludo, badminton, etc. Yoga and karate classes are also part of the activities. A uniquely designed outdoor performance stage has been set up for assemblies and school events.
Admission process Parents have to register the child's name for admission through the online form that is available on the official website of the school. After filling up the registration form, they should contact the Admissions Incharge on the contact number provided on the form, for further instructions and fee payment.
