About Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Reliance Foundation School, Jamnagar
Established in 1997, the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Reliance Foundation School (KDARFS), Jamnagar is a co-ed higher secondary CBSE-affiliated school set up by the Reliance Foundation (RF), a philanthropic unit of Reliance Industries Limited. A conducive learning environment right from the preprimary level to the senior secondary section helps students to develop their communication skills, artistic talents, and analytical abilities.
Highlights of Programs and Activities Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including in the fields of visual and performing art, debates and elocutions, physical education, etc. Counselling programs are scheduled for students to deal with social and emotional issues, and a Life Skills Education program helps to develop communication and social skills. KDARFS Campus infrastructure and facilities The well-designed campus that is spread over 15 acres has independent academic blocks for the pre-primary, primary, secondary, and senior secondary students, and a separate administrative block. The entire campus is safe and secure with CCTVs and fire-fighting equipment installed as well as 24x7 security.
The play section for toddlers has fun equipment like slides, swings, and sandboxes. Classrooms are spacious with age-appropriate furniture, smart boards for e-learning, and soft boards. The Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Science labs are equipped with the latest instruments and appropriate charts. There are computer labs to enhance IT skills, a maths lab to reinforce the concepts in the subject, and two independent libraries for the primary and secondary sections. Facilities for sports and games include those for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, chess, badminton, table tennis, swimming, etc. Other facilities include music, art & craft rooms, dance studios, activity rooms, a medical room, a canteen, etc.
