About Namrata Acharya English School

Namrata Acharya English School is part of the Acharya Institution's Veeracharya Technical Education campus. Apart from the school, a junior college, a polytechnic and an engineering college are also located on the same campus. The school is located at the picturesque foothills of Matheran in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. The campus is just opposite the Shelu suburban railway station on the Kalyan to Karjat highway.

Established in 2014-15, the school is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Navi Mumbai. The school runs classes from primary to higher secondary. The medium of instruction is in English, with emphasis given to learning Hindi, Marathi, and Sanskrit as well.

Infrastructure

The school has a library, a science laboratory and a modern computer lab. All the classrooms are digitally equipped with smartboards. Amongst co-curricular activities, the school lays emphasis on learning skills in the field of art, work education, music, dance, yoga and karate. Activities like story writing & telling, quiz, shloka recitation, clay modelling, and annual day celebrations are conducted from time to time.
