About Harrow International School
Harrow International School, Bengaluru is a collaborative educational venture between Harrow International Schools Limited and the Amity Education Group. Starting its first academic session in August next year, the senior secondary school will offer the IGCSE curriculum. The co-ed boarding and day school will be enrolling students from age 11 up to age 18. Music, Drama, Dance, Art, and Sports are the co-curricular activities. Educational expeditions and residential trips will be scheduled from time to time. Students can join any of the myriad exciting clubs, such as photography, chess, coding, languages, etc.
Academic sections The upper school section will have students from Grades 6 to 12, in two phases, a Middle School section for students who are 11 to 14 years who will be enrolled in Grades 6 to 8; and the Senior School section for students who are 14 to 18 years who will be enrolled in Grades 9 to 12. A lower school section will likely be opened on the same campus at a later date.
Campus infrastructure and facilities The scenic 30-acre campus of Harrow International School, Bengaluru has demarcated academic spaces, including classrooms, a library, a lecture theatre, an exam hall, dance, drama, and music rooms, and classrooms for Fine Art. There is a spacious Sports Hall with courts for badminton, squash, basketball, gymnastics, etc while outdoors there are facilities for athletics, basketball, cricket, football, etc. There is a swimming pool as well on campus.
Boarding facilities on the campus will include ensuite rooms for students of senior classes and twin rooms for the younger children, with a dining room, library, common rooms, etc.
Admission procedure Parents seeking admission to Harrow International School, Bengaluru should first contact the admissions office by email (the email ID is given above) and the staff will answer your queries and arrange for an information session. Then the child should be registered through the online registration form along with a payment of the requisite registration fee. Selected candidates then have to appear for what is known as the 'Harrow Test' that includes an interview, assessment of English and Maths, and classroom-based group activity. Parents who receive an admission offer letter should accept the offer within two weeks of its receipt, and pay the requisite deposit. Details of the registration fee, tuition fees, and other fees can be obtained through the admissions office.
