About Gurukul Olympiad School
Gurukul Olympiad School, popularly nicknamed GO School, is part of the Gurukul chain of schools, where traditional values and customs are imbibed into the students through value-based education. Infrastructure The school has a number of infrastructural facilities at its beautiful and aesthetically built campus, which is also centrally located. There are well-equipped laboratories for all science subjects as well as a spacious computer lab. The hostels have all the necessary facilities for comfortable of the students. The mess at the hostel serves vegetarian meals. However, eggs are available during breakfast. The mess menu is revised from time to time by an expert dietician.
An infirmary is also available at the school premises with an MBBS doctor and nursing staff available to take care of routine medical care. For emergencies and serious cases, the students are shifted to a nearby government hospital.
Activities The school lays special emphasis on co-curricular activities by encouraging students to participate in a variety of activities like singing, dancing, recitation, speaking, narrating, story writing, sculpture making and participating in events like drama, music, debates, etc. Its popular tagline - 'Not just a school…but a career school' - is quite apt, considering that students here are benefited from all-around development through the school's intense training curriculum and activities.
