About Redwoods English School, Jeypore, Distt. Koraput
This beautiful valley school came into existence in 1984 with an aim of bringing the rural masses to the mainstream where the region is tribal dominated and make them English medium education as accessible and affordable. The location of the school at the base of Nakti Donger (a famous hill of Jeypore) looks marvellous with the beauty of nature and its surroundings.
With a motto to serve rural India and try to provide facilities which only students of urban India are aware of, the management has taken care of the school to have its own building, laboratories, computer labs and science labs, library, Audio-visual rooms, playground etc.
The management has also taken care to see that the students who are economically or academically weak or who, due to certain constraints are unable to attend school regularly, or for students above the normal age for basic education, can opt for the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). Thus they run two patterns, one CBSE and the other NIOS for the betterment of the students to class X.
