SPDH Sindhi Model Senior Secondary School was established in the year 1975 by Sindhi Educational Society. The school was first started for primary classes and was later upgraded to a senior secondary educational institution in the year 1989. It is a CBSE affiliated co-educational institution. The main aim of the school is to provide quality education along with the necessary core values and moral values needed for a student to become a responsible person in the society. Seth P D Hinduja Sindhi Model Senior Secondary School is one of the premier schools in Chennai.
Academics The school offers education from nursery to senior classes as per the CBSE curriculum. For nursery classes, the school trains the tiny tots by following a play-way methodology. For the primary classes from class I to V, the school follows unique teaching methodologies to tune the analytical skills of the students. The students are encouraged to take part in educational activities such as project work, debate, and quiz.
The medium of instructions and the first language in the school is English. Hindi/Tamil is the second language which is taught in the school from UKG. The third language offered is Hindi/ Tamil/ Sanskrit. Activities To improve the comprehensive development of the students, the school conducts non-academic activities such as Vedic education, art and craft, music, dance and sports.
