Silver Oaks International School was started in the year 2002 in Hyderabad. It has three more campuses in Whitefield (Bangalore), Sarjapur (Bangalore) and Vishakhapatnam. The school has a tie-up with IB (International Baccalaureate) and CBSE and follows its curriculum. IB curriculum is available for primary classes till 6th standard and from 7th to 12th standard, it follows the CBSE pattern of teaching.
Facilities Focusing on the overall development of the students, the school is offering various facilities for mental, physical and spiritual health. The classrooms are spacious with equipment to support interactive learning. Sports-related facilities include a basketball court, lawn tennis, Swimming pool, Badminton court, skating rink, Football ground, etc. Yoga classes or sessions are also getting conducted for the students in the presence of a proficient yoga trainer.
The school also has well-set laboratories to teach the practical aspects related to the theories. Students are allowed to perform curriculum-related experiments under the supervision of their respective teachers.
Admissions For admissions, parents need to take a school tour where a small presentation about the advantages and facilities of the school will be given. After this, if the parents show interest in admission, the forms can be submitted enclosed with the required documents. The list of documents is as given below-
- 2 passport size photographs of the student and one passport size photograph of each of the parents is required. This photograph should not be old.
- A photocopy of the Birth Certificate of the student is required.
- If the admission is for PP2 to 7th grade, the photocopy of the mark sheets of the current/ previous class needs to be submitted.
- A photocopy of the Aadhaar card of the student and both the parents is required.
- Lastly the Transfer certificate for admissions in 2nd grade or higher is needed.
After submission of the application and documents, parents with the student are called for interaction and then the admission is confirmed within a week or so by the administration.
Fee Structure The fee of the school has 4 main component- refundable deposit (that is only for new admissions), Annual fee (to be paid once in an academic year), Tuition fee (to be paid separately for 3 terms, at the time of admission, in August and in December) and the last one is Transport fee.
