Smt. Narbada Devi J Agarwal Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College was established in the year 1977 and is managed by Vivekananda Educational Society. The school is recognized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and has classes from LKG to XII. Besides CBSE, the school is affiliated to Vidya Bharathi, an all India NGO for school education. The institution strives hard to impart Man-Making education to the students along with high quality culturally oriented education and moral values. The Vidyalaya has good infrastructure, facilities and well-qualified teachers who work for the better development of the students.

Academics The school follows CBSE curriculum from LKG to class XII. English is the medium of instructions in the school. The students are given education based on the NCERT syllabus. Facilities The school is located at 1.66 Acres land in Vyasarpadi, Chennai. To provide quality education, the school has modern building complex with spacious and furnished classrooms, equipped Maths and Science laboratories, computer center, two-tier library hall, indoor auditorium, prayer hall and multimedia room. The school library has a wide collection of periodicals, magazines, textbooks, dailies and reference books. The school has a vast playground to play games and sports. Activities and Events The school involves into a lot of service activities and community services such as blood donation camps, a free study center for Government/Corporation Schools, Spoken English training programme, orphanage visits, residential camps, etc. The students are encouraged to participate in the activities such as Bharath Scouts and Guides, Junior Red Cross and Club activities such as dance, music, quiz, debate, etc. To identify the talent and creativity of the students, the school also conducts various competitions.
