St. Britto's Academy was started in the year 1997 and is managed by SMR Educational Trust, a non-profitable and charitable trust which provides quality education to the students. It is a co-educational senior secondary institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school aims to provide an excellent education to the students through its innovative educational strategies. The institution also strives to improve the thinking ability, personality, and creativity of the students.
Academics The school offers education from KG to grade XII as per the guidelines of the CBSE board. For KG kids, the school provides hands-on experience and improves the physical and the intellectual ability. Basic learning experiences such as etiquettes, fine motor skills, sorting, coloring, recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, etc. are provided to the kids.
The school follows a curriculum designed by the National Council of Educational research and training (NCERT). The curriculum includes subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social studies, and Computer. English is the first language and Tamil/Hindi/French is the second language. For the grade I to X, St. Britto's Academy follows Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system to improve the scholastic and co-scholastic performance of the students.
In addition to the conceptual learning, the school focuses on experimental learning and skill-based learning. To promote the research mindedness in the students, the school also exposes the students of all classes to science talent examinations, various Olympiads, and other competitive examinations.

Facilities St. Britto's Academy covers an area of 1.5 acres land in the heart of the city. The school has a well-developed infrastructure and facilities suitable for a comfortable learning.
