Dolphin Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1987 and it offers education based on the curriculum of Tamil Nadu state board. The school offers education from LKG to class XII. The school concentrates more on academics and the co-curricular activities of the students.
Academics
The school follows X-SEED curriculum for primary and middle class. To improve the analytical and the verbal skills of the students, the school conducts special classes and also organizes classes to offer training to the students on the languages such as French, Sanskrit and German. The students can opt and learn an additional language. To understand the basic concepts, the school organizes educational field trips and industrial visits periodically.
For class XI, the school offers education to the following groups
1. Physics / Chemistry / Maths /Computer Science
2. Physics / Chemistry / Maths / Biology
3. Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science
4. Commerce /Accountancy / Economics / Computer Science

Infrastructure

Activities
The school encourages the students to participate in the extra-curricular activities and games such as sword fight, Kho-Kho, Karate, Chess, Boxing, Silambam, Taekwondo, Yoga and Volleyball. To unleash the creativity and the talent of the students, the school conducts many creative events and talent contests. The school organizes Annual Day, Children's day and Sports day every year to bring out the hidden cultural talent and the sports talent of the students. The school has NSS unit and it involves the students to participate in the student related activities, awareness programmes, etc.
