Dhanish Matriculation Higher Secondary School is a minority Muslim educational institution established in the year 1989. The school is managed by Ayanavaram Educational Trust. It is a co-educational institution recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The school has separate sections for boys and girls from class 6 onwards. The school is affiliated to the State Matriculation board and it offers education till class XII. Dhanish School has a very good academic record and the students from the School have scored top scores in the class X and XII board examinations.

AcademicsFor nursery classes, the school follows Montessori Method of teaching. The tiny tots are given education through play-way method in colorful classrooms. For the primary class children, Dhanish School follows Activity Based Learning (ABL) education. The school teaches Spoken English along with the subjects such as Tamil, Mathematics, Science and Social. Hindi is taught as a third language for the primary school students.
For secondary class, the school follows smart board teaching and provides wide subject knowledge to the students by conducting workshops and seminars. The school also organizes educational field trips for wide exposure and better understanding of the real-world concepts.
For higher secondary classes, the school conducts various tests, exams and trains them to face the board examinations. ActivitiesThe school conducts daily and Friday congregational Zohar prayers. To unleash the talent of the students, the school organizes monthly competitions on various activities and encourages the students by providing gifts, certificates, medals and prizes. To empower the skill set of the students, the school motivates the students to participate in co-curricular activities. The secondary school students are allowed to participate in the club activities of the school to improve the special skills and talent. The clubs that are present in the school are Eco club, literary club, sports club, science club, spoken English club, Road safety patrol, N.S.S, scouts and guides.
