The hospital consists of patient clinic, emergency department, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, internal medicine, dermatology, cardiac center, physiology, therapy and rehabilitation. The JUST faculty of medicine the second in Jordan was established in 1984 in Yarmouk University in Northern city of Irbid. The faculty is associated with king Abdullah university hospital. This university is one of the Jordanian state run universities. The university was established in 1995 and is located close to the city of Zarqa. The university is the first to apply for two summer semester system. It offers different masters programs. It allows for international admission program. The university consists sof 19 colleges, faculties of –engineering, science, arts, economics, administrative sciences, allied health sciences, nursing, educational sciences, information technology, childhood, tourism, and heritage, natural resources, pharmacy etc. The university library contains 250 thousand paper materials and computerized database of scientific documents in various areas of knowledge. The library also consists of special purpose libraries.
