Admission 2024-25 B.Tech for other state quotas in CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute Tamil Nadu

Tech Chemical & Electrochemical Engineering course from eligible candidates under other State quotas for the academic year 2024-25. Admission is based on a valid JEE(Main) 2024 All India Rank. The program is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai & Accredited by NBA, New Delhi.
The last date for online Application submission is 06.08.2024 (5 pm)
Number of seats: There are only 5 seats available ((UR- 2, EWS- 1, OBC (NCL) - 1, SC- 1). In the absence of an EWS Candidate, the seat will be transferred to eligible UR quota candidates, and in the absence of eligible SC Candidates, the seat will be given to eligible SC quota candidates.
Eligibility
Candidates should be citizens of India and should have studied class VIII onwards in a state other than Tamil Nadu. A certificate to this effect as per Annexure-1 available at the admission Notification link at https://www.cecri.res.in/ in English should be submitted.Candidate must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent from a recognized State Board /Central Board or any other Board, other than Tamil Nadu accepted by Anna University, Chennai with an aggregate of 50% marks (for SC/ST candidates aggregate of 40% marks) in compulsory subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For SC/ST candidates. Candidates must also have a valid JEE (Main) 2024 All India Rank certificate.
Selection process
CSIR Admission to B.Tech. Chemical & Electrochemical Engineering (CECRI) for other states quota is based on a valid JEE(Main) 2024 All India Rank.For admission, Eligible candidates will be allowed to appear through Online Counselling. The shortlisted candidates for appearing in the online counseling, will be notified on the website. Candidates can check all the details about the application form, information, and instructions at www.cecri.res.in

Eligible and interested candidates have to pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates) through online mode viz.
