Introduction

Teerthanker Mahaveer University is located in Moradabad (U.P.). It is a Private University established by Act 30 of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the university is also approved by the UGC.

The university claims excellent infrastructure and study environment on its campus and has got a good placement network with the top companies and industries.

Courses offered

The university offers a large number of UG, PG, and Doctoral programs under streams like Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, Physiotherapy, Hospital Administration, Physical Education, Management, Engineering, Commerce, Education, Polytechnic, Law, Fine Arts, Agriculture, and Jain Studies.

Admission Process

Admissions for 2023-24 are open and are made based on the merit of the qualifying examination. If a student has appeared in the qualifying examination this year and waiting for the result then he can apply for provisional admission but will have to produce the documents pertaining to the result of the qualifying examination positively by 31st October 2023.

A candidate can apply online or offline at one's convenience. For applying online one has to visit the university website and go to the 'Admission' tab under the main menu. Here one has to select the course, upload the required documents as mentioned therein, pay the application fee, and finally submit the application.

For offline applications, one has to download the application form from the website by going to the 'Admission' tab under the main menu. Candidate has to manually fill it and attach self-certified copies of mark sheets/testimonials with the application form and paste the latest photograph in the space provided in the application Form. The physical application form along with all the mentioned documents and a demand draft of Rs 1000 as the application fee is to be submitted or mailed to the university office at the address mentioned below under the heading 'Contact'.

I would advise that candidates should carefully read all the points mentioned in the application form before submitting or mailing it. This is very important as any deficiency on that part will be the cause of rejection of the application.

The list of admitted candidates in the respective courses will be notified by the university and the candidate will get the information in this regard.

Upon confirmation of the admission, the candidate will have to produce an affidavit from one's parent regarding keeping good conduct and discipline by the candidate in the university. The university also encourages the candidate to bring the parents at the time of admission so that they can physically see the good facilities and infrastructure on the campus.

Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a Jain Minority State Private and was established in 2008 under Act No. 30. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is accredited with a "B++" grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation. It offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees program in various disciplines.

Eligibility criteria

1. Candidates who want to get admission to Undergraduate courses should pass the 12th class or any other equivalent examination with the prescribed subjects.

2. Candidates who want to get admission to postgraduate courses should have passed undergraduate courses from a recognized university with prescribed subjects.

3. Candidates who want to get admission to a Ph.D. should have passed Post Graduation course with a minimum of 50% marks in the concerned subject.

Admission procedure

Admission to these courses will be done on a merit basis. Ifa f candidate has appeared in a qualifying examination and the result is awaited, they can take provisional admission. However, in all circumstances, you shall have to submit the result to the university latest by October 31. At first, you go to the official website and fill out the form and attach self-certified copies of your mark sheets/testimonials with the application form. Paste your photograph in the space provided in the Application Form. Pay the application fee of Rs 1000/- online via debit/ credit cards. You can apply application form offline also.
