I know about integrated courses after the 12th class or intermediate. These integrated courses will offer a post-graduation course and a graduation course. For example, Andhra University is offering an integrated M Tech course in some subjects after the 12th class. They will have the option to leave one year before if the students desire and will be awarded B Tech. Similarly, the same university is offering an integrated M Sc in Applied Chemistry after completing the 12th class.

As far as My knowledge goes after completing the 10th class there is no option to join in a degree course. But a student can join in diploma course and after completing the diploma course there are chances to join the degree course through lateral entry into to 2nd year of the BE/ B Tech course. My brother earned a Diploma in Civil Engineering after the 10th class and then joined BE civil lateral entry in his second year by attending the entrance test.

Some open universities are offering degree courses without any formal qualifications. They conduct an entrance test and students qualified in that test will be given a chance to complete their degree course through that university only. For more information, one can refer to the website of IGNOU.

To compare which one would be a better option for a candidate would depend upon various factors Generally both paths would lead to a B.Tech degree and the value of the course would lie in the reputation of the institute from where the candidate is pursuing a course. While mentioning two prominent institutions such as the NMiMS and MIT located in Pune as being by far the reputed institutions offering the integrated programs, how far such a course coverage is beneficial to a student can be ascertained with the examination of the following points noted below -
1) The Curriculum to be examined given the industrial demands - Though the institutes are providing the best curriculum according to their perceptions, how far the same would be relevant according to the present requirements has to be assessed closely by the university officials. There must be an alignment between the existing curriculum and the present demands of the industries.
2) The quality of internships and industrial exposure - The value of a candidate multiplies significantly with the best internships and industrial orientations since in that way, they could be familiar with the latest work culture of the industries.
3) Career-advancement opportunities - A candidate can closely examine the placement records of both courses to know the superiority of each course.
4) To evaluate the justifiability of the integrated programs - How far such a course coverage of the integrated program would be sustainable in the present market situation is to be evaluated by the course providers so that it might fit in the upcoming time.

A candidate can draw a conclusion regarding which one is better by taking feedback from alumni of both institutions and check the placement record.
