If you have changed your name through a Gazette notification and want to apply for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), you will need to follow a few steps to ensure that your application is processed smoothly:

  • Update your name in official documents: After you change your name through a Gazette notification, make sure to update your name in all your official documents, including your Aadhaar card, passport, and other relevant certificates.

  • Register for NEET: Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and register for NEET. During the registration process, you will be required to enter your personal details, including your name, date of birth, and other relevant information. Make sure to enter your updated name in the application form.

  • Provide necessary documents: Along with the NEET application form, you will need to submit some documents, including your Aadhaar card, passport, or any other ID proof that has your updated name. Make sure to provide all the required documents in the prescribed format.

  • Verify your details: Once you submit the application form, verify all the details you have entered, including your name, date of birth, and other personal information. Double-check to ensure that all the details are correct and match the documents you have submitted.

  • Pay the application fee: You will need to pay the NEET application fee using one of the available payment options.

  • Download the admit card: After your application is processed, you will be able to download your NEET admit card from the official website. Make sure to check all the details on the admit card, including your name and other personal information.

I suggest you follow the above steps regarding your name change and NEET application.

By following these steps, you can apply for NEET after changing your name through a Gazette notification. However, if you have any further queries or concerns, it is recommended to contact the NTA for assistance.

After changing my name via a gazette notice, I had the experience of applying for NEET. It was a time-consuming process that involved plenty of work and documentation. I had to go through a protracted and difficult process in order to obtain the gazette notification from the local administration. After that, I had to submit copies of the notification to the NEET authorities, which took a lot of patience and effort. Finally, I was able to update my name on the application, and I was approved to take the test. When I received word that I had been admitted to the exam, it was a wonderful sensation.
