The Department of Architecture, a part of the Faculty of Technology and Engineering of the M.S.University of Baroda (NAAC Ranking – A), established in 1949 offers Bachelor of Architecture(B.Arch. ) program since 1952. It is located in the middle of the campus and is served by studios, workshops, computer labs, and the library.

1. Bachelor of Architecture
Intake: 40

  • Educational qualification Eligibility
  • Candidate must have passed the 10+2 scheme of examination with compulsory subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination in any stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognized institution and having valid score National Level Aptitude Test (NATA) as prescribed by the Council of Architecture (CoA).

  • Admission Process
  • Online Admission Process through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Ahmedabad based on the marks obtained in 10+2 and NATA score.

  • Duration of the program
  • 5 Years (10 semesters) full time

  • Fees
  • MSU fee appx.Rs.10,000/- per year plus Token fee collected by ACPC as per the Rules from time to time.

    2. Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP)
    Intake: 30

  • Educational qualification Eligibility:
  • Candidate must have passed from a recognized institution in Civil Engineering, B.Arch/BE (Civil)/ B.Tech(civil)/B.Plan/PG in Geography or Economic or Sociology & common entrance examination PG CET held by ACPC with a minimum 45% for reserved category and 50% for unreserved category.

  • Admission through Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)

  • Duration of the program
  • 2 Years (4 semesters) full-time program
    MSU Master of Urban & Regional Planning Course (MURP) has been approved by the All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Institute of Town Planners, India
    (ITPI)since 2012.

  • Fees
  • Fee as per Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) & GATE qualified candidates are eligible for scholarship.
    MSU-Baroda fee as per Academic Year 2023-24 appx.Rs.54,000/- per year plus the Token fee collected by ACPC as per the Rules.
