I would like to mention that a foreign student studying in France will have many opportunities to work while studying. International students who have a study Visa can undertake part-time jobs in this country. A student with a study visa can work for a maximum of 964 hours in a year. This is almost 60% of the working hours of a full-time employee. There is a Minimum Wags act known as SMIC (Salaire Minimum Interprofessionnel de Croissance or Guaranteed Minimum Wage). This will ensure that the working students will get minimum wages as the government prescribes. The minimum wage will vary and as of now, the minimum wage is somewhere around 8.20 EUR/hour.

The following are some opportunities a student can take up while studying-
1. Tutor
2. Research Assistant
3. Technical support
4. Office Assistant
5. Food delivery Assistant etc,
