The United Arab Emirates (UAE), is a federation of seven emirates and Dubai is one of them. Dubai has emerged as a good education centre in recent times and there are a good number of educational institutes of repute offering a variety of courses. In particular, the UK has opened many overseas institutes in Dubai. It is becoming an attractive education destination for foreign students including those from India. The advantage of doing certain courses from Dubai is that many students can get a job and make a career in the Gulf countries.
The interesting thing about the environment in Gulf countries is that the students who have certificates or diplomas or UG courses there, all have good job opportunities and that is the main reason why students after completing their 10+2 try to pursue some good courses from the educational institutes in Dubai.
Any student who has completed his 10+2 in India can apply for the desired course in the educational institute offering it in Dubai and after confirmation of the admission has to apply for a student Visa. The student should have valid English proficiency certification from IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE.
I have gone through the various courses available in the educational institutes in Dubai and also gone through future career prospects in them. So a student who wants to study in Dubai will find plenty of opportunities to select in Dubai from various universities and subjects.
Many of the students who are studying in Dubai have chances to get a job in Dubai itself. The industrial houses and universities in Dubai have a lot of interaction and these industries are giving opportunities to study to do internships in their organisations. That is why many students are thinking of having their education after 12th in Dubai. The son of one of my friends joined BITS, Dubai for his B Tech and did his internship after 2nd year in an organisation in Dubai.
Another aspect noticed is many students are showing interest in completing their Diploma after 12th so that they can acquire specialised skills which will increase their chances of getting a placement.
