BA Fine Arts is a 3-year undergraduate course. It includes the concepts of various forms of performing arts including painting, sculpture, architecture, music, and poetry.
Eligibility: Candidate should have passed higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with a minimum of 50 - 55% marks from any reputed Board / Council.

BFA Admissions were earlier done based on the merits of 10+2 or entrance exams conducted by various institutions. But with effect from the academic session 2023, many institutions have opted for scores in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) as a criterion for admissions to BFA courses. Now CUET exams are being held online in the last week of May 2023 and many institutions will consider the scores of CUET for finalizing the admissions possibly by July 2023. Some of the institutions which have still not opted for CUET would be taking the students as per merit of 10+2 or entrance exam conducted by that institution. Some of the prominent earlier entrance exams for BFA like DUET, BHU UET, UPCET, JMI, etc have been replaced with the CUET exam with effect from the academic year 2023.
In my personal opinion students interested in going for a BFA course should appear in CUET as that gives them a bigger canvas to try to get admission to the institute of their choice.
BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) is a 4 year UG degree course and provides specialized learning in the field of Applied Arts, Painting, Visual Arts, etc. Candidates having passed the class 12 exam with at least 45% marks from a recognized board are eligible for BFA admission 2023.
Another requirement is that the student should have studied English or Hindi as one of the core subjects in high school.
Candidates shortlisted after the merit/entrance test/CUET, whatever the case might be, will be called for an interview and after finalization of admission would be required to deposit the fee.
