Initially founded as a department in the Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University in 1968, and transformed into an independent Faculty of Management Studies in 1984, it has been ameliorated into the Institute of Management Studies in 2015 as a constituent of the renowned Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi exclusively for management programs. BHU MBA Admissions 2023
Master's Program in Business Administration and International Business (IB) Master of Business Administration and MBA in International Business has been conducted for a duration of 2 years and these two are full-time programs. Candidates with an aggregate of 50% at the UG/PG degree in any discipline from any institution recognized by the AIU/AICTE and SC/ST category with an aggregate of 40% are eligible for admission. Admission is processed through the combined ranking system including the CAT exam conducted by the IIM (50% weightage), GD/Interview by the FMS BHU (30%), and academic marks (20%). Admissions for payment quota under Paid Seat Scheme are also made from the above ranking list after completing the general/SC/ST admissions. The students can apply in a single application form for these programs.
Master's Program in Agri-Business Administration This two-year, full-time unique course is intended specially to meet the requirements related to the agriculture sector. Students are selected through the written exam conducted by the University, GD, and interview. They need to fulfil the eligibility criteria with 50% aggregate in the UG/PG in the subjects like Agriculture, Home Science, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, B.Voc (Food Processing & Management), and for SC/ST category pass mark is sufficient.

Author: Algo Shaji Post Date: 10 Apr 2023 One of the finest universities in India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), provides a two-year MBA programme. The entrance exam is often held in April or May, while the admissions process for the MBA programme at BHU usually begins in January or February.
A bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students) and a valid CAT score are requirements for admission to the BHU MBA programme. Candidates can also apply for the programme by taking the BHU's own MBA entrance exam if they have not taken the CAT exam.
Candidates must submit both the application fee and a completed online application form to the university in order to be considered for admission to the BHU MBA programme.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview, which is usually held in June or July.
