There are some unrecognised institutes are there. But the certificate given by such institutes is not valid. They give fake certificates. So the candidates who wanted to get skilled in a particular trade should join a recognised institute and complete the course there.
The eligibility criteria may vary from State to state. The broad eligibility criteria are as follows.
1. The candidate should be an Indian National.
2. The minimum age for admission is 14 years as of 1st August of the year of admission. A candidate who wants to join in the year 2023, should complete his 14th year by the 1st of August 2023. There is no maximum age prescribed.
3. The candidate should pass the 10th class examination conducted by the state board or any other equivalent course from any other recognised board.
4. For certain trades a pass in 8th Standard is acceptable.
5. For more details the candidate should contact the institute in which he wants to get admitted and apply as per the procedure laid down.
