Yes, you can now obtain a Ph.D. right away after graduating without first obtaining a master's degree.

According to NEP 2020, students who have obtained a four-year bachelor's degree should be able to apply straight for the PhD programme. Whereas before, in accordance with the higher education system that was in place, students had to study for a three-year bachelor's degree, followed by a two-year postgraduate degree, before becoming eligible to pursue a PhD degree.

Nonetheless, a student with a four-year bachelor's degree can now apply for PhD admission immediately under the most recent University Grants Commission standards. Make it clear that the candidate must get at least 75 per cent overall or the equivalent grade. If students decide to pursue a Ph.D. right after graduation, it will now save them two years.

Apart from this, an integrated Ph.D. option is also available. Many universities and institutes offer integrated PhD programmes. This also saves a student almost 2 years as compared to those who go for a 2-year Master's degree programme and then join a PhD programme.

On the other hand, a graduate student can also enrol in the M.Phil. programme, which will grant them immediate entrance to the PhD programme. Also, it will save almost two years, because the M.Phil. will take one year and the Ph.D. will take two years. The aggregate, or its equivalent grade, must have been at least 55%. However, the M.Phil. programme has been eliminated at central universities like the University of Delhi and JNU. Moreover, a B.Tech.student without a master's degree may pursue a PhD with a valid GATE score.

The methods listed above are how you can enrol in a Ph.D. programme right after graduation without having a master's degree.

If I were a recent graduate considering pursuing a PhD, I would reflect on my academic achievements during my undergraduate degree and whether they meet the requirements for admission to a PhD program. I would also think about my research interests and whether I have a clear idea of what I want to study in a PhD program.

I would also consider the time and dedication required for a PhD programme, as it may be a hard and time-consuming procedure. Before beginning a PhD, it may be useful to obtain some professional or research experience to gain a better knowledge of what the programme comprises and whether it is the correct path for me.

Finally, the decision to pursue a PhD after graduation is a personal one that is influenced by personal circumstances and ambitions. When making a decision, it is critical to carefully analyse all considerations and to seek counsel and direction from mentors, advisors, and peers.

There is a change in the eligibility criteria for PhD in India. The University Grants Commission made some changes to its earlier policy and last year December they announced it in this respect.

A candidate who passed a 4-year graduation can apply for PhD admission and can go for a PhD. The candidate who obtained a minimum of 75 per cent marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed is only eligible for this.

Candidates who completed their M-Phil with at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade are also eligible.

Candidates who completed their 1-year master's degree programme after a 4-year bachelor's degree programme are also eligible for PhD admission.

Candidates who completed their 2-year master's degree programme after a 3-year bachelor's degree programme with at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade can also go for their PhD.

So if you passed a 4-year graduation course with a minimum of 75% marks you can go for PhD course.

No, you cannot do PhD after graduation. Students must have a master's degree for doing a PhD. If you need a reputed college, then you must clear the NET examination. For doing PhD in engineering or technology, you must have a good GATE score.

So, after doing post-graduation you would be able to do a PhD. In some subject M Phill is also needed to do PhD.

.According to the new education policy, you can do PhD after graduation. Earlier, a master's degree was compulsory to join the Ph.D. program. But now after completing a four-year bachelor's degree program minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade, candidates can apply for a doctoral program. And another option you already know is that the candidate should have a master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in relevant subjects. Then you can apply for Ph.D. at University. Many universities take admission based on a written exam followed by an interview. Some universities take admission based on being NET-qualified. So, You should have NET qualified. For engineering discipline, the GATE score is compulsory criteria.
