Cochin university or Model Engineering college - which is better for engineering?

As someone who has had the privilege of having studied engineering from both Cochin University and Model Engineering College, I can confidently say that both are great institutions for engineering. While Model Engineering College is known for its traditional approach to engineering, Cochin University is known for its more innovative and research-oriented approach.
At Model Engineering College, I found the faculty to be extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the field of engineering. They were always willing to guide me and help me understand the various concepts and theories in engineering. Additionally, the labs were well-equipped and gave me the opportunity to apply what I had learned in class.
On the other hand, at Cochin University, I was exposed to a more research-oriented approach to engineering. The faculty here was very open to new ideas and encouraged students to think out of the box. Additionally, the labs were well-equipped with the latest technologies and I was able to get hands-on experience of the latest engineering trends.
I can say that both Cochin University and Model Engineering College are great institutions for engineering and I would recommend them to anyone looking to pursue engineering.

I had the difficult decision of choosing between Cochin University and Model Engineering College for my engineering studies. I chose to pursue my engineering degree at Cochin University and I have never looked back. The university has fantastic faculty and resources which have enabled me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The university also offers a range of extracurricular activities and other programs which have helped me to grow both professionally and personally. Model Engineering College also has a great reputation and offers various degree programs in engineering. However, I felt that Cochin University was the better option for me as it offered the right atmosphere to explore the subject and develop my skills. The faculty at the university was helpful and knowledgeable, and I was able to learn the subject in-depth. In addition, the resources provided by the university were also very useful, and I was able to get hands-on experience in various engineering projects. This experience has been invaluable to me, and I'm glad I chose to pursue my engineering degree at Cochin University.

I have friends who have studied and graduated from both Model Engineering College and Cochin University of Science and Technology. According to discussions I've had with them, both schools are quality educational institutions that provide enriching experiences for students. Both colleges provide excellent engineering courses with distinguished placements. The only difference I heard was how CUSAT is more strict in ways than MEC and if you want to have a relatively balanced study life you should opt for CUSAT, however, if you enjoy a more social life, you can opt for MEC. I hope you find the right college that suits you, all the best in your future endeavours.
