Does a school office clerk get a good salary and bonuses in India?

Relating the good perks and salaries would depend on where the office clerk has been posted such as a central government school, a public school, a state government school, a school formed by a committee or a school managed by a public undertaking unit. Moreover, the candidate is put to multiple tasks very often to conserve the finances of the school.
4) If a school is located in a village and the same is managed by a registered society, the office clerk might not get more than Rs 10, 000/- per month in the initial stage. However, the plus point of such an appointment is that he might get a good offer at a later stage with his experience.

It all depends on the school.
1. If it is a government school a clerk will get a salary and other benefits as per the government rules that are applicable from time to time. They will get promotions also and they can enjoy all the benefits of a government employee.
2. If the school belongs to corporate houses, a clerk may be getting a good salary based on the capacity of the school. He will have heavy work compared to a clerk in a government school and his payment may be less than the salary of a clerk in a government school.
3. If the school is a small school with a smaller number of teachers and students, the salaries paid in those schools will be less only and promotion chances will be less only.
