Does BITS Pilani offer any kind of scholarship to the students

There are many financial concession programmes are there in this institute. The following are the two types of Scholarships the institute offers.
1. Scholarship 1: This scholarship will be given in the form of concessions in the fee payable. At the time of joining full fee is to be paid but later on, this amount will be reimbursed. This scholarship is called a merit scholarship.
a. A 20% concession in the first-semester tuition fee will be given to the students who obtained 90% or above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination. This is a merit scholarship. Ir
b. A 15% concession in the first-semester tuition fee will be given to students who have obtained 80% or above but less than 90% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination.
Scholarship 2:
This is known as the institute's own Merit-cum-Means Scholarships. Under this scheme, students will be given some concession in the tuition fee.
a) 3% of the admitted students will be given an amount equivalent to 80% of the total tuition fee as a scholarship.
b) 6% of the students will be given an amount equivalent to 40% of the total tuition fee as a scholarship.
c) 12% of Students will be given an amount equivalent to 25% of the total tuition fee as a scholarship.
More details will be available in the institute and can be informed to the students. In addition to the above, there will be some other scholarships instituted by some organisations for the students studying in this institute. More details may be available on the website of the institute.

BITS Pilani does offer scholarships for students. I know this as one of my friend's brothers was recently trying to get into an undergraduate course at BITS P and he was sharing the information regarding fees and all other amenities with me.
He was telling me about the various types of scholarships that BITS Pilani offers for students. Starting with freshers, the board toppers can avail100% scholarship for their tuition fee, in the first semester. As BITS has its own entrance test BITSAT, students who score high marks are given 15-20% deduction on the first-semester tuition fee. Students who have attended and scored high marks in competitive exams such as IIT-JEE can also avail for scholarships depending on their marks.
In my University, Shiv Nadar University, we had 50-75% fee exemption for students who scored above 7.5 GPA and I was curious whether there was something like that at BITS. Upon enquiring with him more, he responded by stating that students who continued to be on the toppers list, every semester with 9.0 GPA had the chance to avail a scholarship each semester.
Students who excel in sports and have official sports backgrounds are given 50% scholarships in the first semester and it continues depending on their GPA.
