Yes, CR Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science (AIMSCS) does offer courses in computer science. There are two courses, one plain B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and the other one B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Data Science.
Residing in Hyderabad for the last so many years, I was very much aware of the existence of the CR Rao Institute at the Hyderabad University campus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. I knew that it offered several graduate and postgraduate programs in mathematics and statistics. However, I was not aware of the B.Tech programs in computer science. Twice did I visit the institute, once when my son appeared for the Regional Mathematics Olympiad exam and the second time when he appeared for the Statistics Olympiad. But they were some years back. It was only a few days back when my friend informed me that he has received a call from CR Rao Institute for his daughter's admission to the computer science program that I got aware of the B.Tech courses at AIMSCS.
What I have now learnt is that the B.Tech programs in computer science are newly launched, barely a year old. Last year, i.e. in 2022 there was only one batch with 40 students. This year in 2023, there will be two batches, one for the plain CSE program and the other one with the data science specialization. Both batches this year will have 60 students each.
Since the B.Tech courses are newly launched, and the institute with its independent process for admission, not many prospective students are aware of the computer science programs available at this institute. Many deserving candidates might have thus missed applying for admission to this institute.
It is worth noting that both the B.Tech programs are offered by the institute in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad.
The application process is online and interested candidates to apply for the same by visiting the official website as and when the institute releases its admission notification, which is generally during May. The candidates, besides their JEE Mains or TS-EAMCET ranks/marks, should have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifications from a recognized board.

Admission procedure
The institute does not conduct any admission test for admission to its B.Tech programs. It instead relies on the JEE Mains Rank and TS-EAMCET Ranks. The admission process is conducted in three phases. In the first phase, 50% of the seats are allotted to students holding a valid JEE Main Rank. In the second phase, the remaining 50% of seats are allotted to candidates with a valid TS-EAMCET Rank. In the third phase, leftover seats, if any, are opened for spot admission. However, such candidates for spot admission should have either a JEE Mains or TS-EAMCET rank/marks. Since not many are aware of the courses, it is still relatively easy to get admission. My friend's daughter who did not even score qualifying marks in the JEE Mains got a call from the institute based on her JEE Mains marks. However, I believe, as the courses become popular, considering the reputation of the institute, in the coming years it won't be as easy to get admission here as is now.It is worth noting that both the B.Tech programs are offered by the institute in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad.
