2. Enhancing the Quality of Education: The PRAGYATA initiative is helping to enhance the quality of education by providing digital resources and online teacher training programs. For instance, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has developed a "DIKSHA" platform that provides access to digital textbooks, e-books, and other educational resources. Additionally, the "Swayam Prabha" platform, launched under the PRAGYATA initiative, offers online courses and lectures from various educational institutions in India.

3. Promoting Digital Literacy: The PRAGYATA initiative is promoting digital literacy among students and teachers. For example, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the government has launched the "E-Shiksha" program, which aims to provide digital education to students in government schools. During the Pandemic schools were closed and no students were able to attend the schools. After COVID-19 also many children couldn't attend school due to their family's financial position. This situation has made the Government understand the need for online education. But there are many issues to resolve to go ahead with digital education.

Keeping this point in view the Government of India implemented this initiative. The Human Resource Development Ministry has issued some guidelines that are designed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) concerning the digital education of the students of India. These are called PRAGYATA Guidelines. These guidelines are just advisory but can't be forced.

There are eight steps of online/ digital learning that is, Plan- Review- Arrange- Guide- Yak(talk)- Assign- Track- Appreciate.

The guidelines will be useful to school heads, teachers, parents, teacher educators and students. If these guidelines are implemented, I feel that we will see many improvements. In my opinion, the following are the advantages. Promotes the use of digital tools for education

2. These guidelines will make increase the availability of digital education to more students.
3. Digital technologies will be made available to teachers and they can train themselves to impart education to students using digital technology. The teachers will get access to more e-books and that will help them in providing quality education to their students.
4. It will provide a way to conduct further innovation and investment in digital learning and teaching technology

I first heard about the PRAGYATA initiative when I visited Himachal Pradesh recently. I was eating my breakfast at a local restaurant and making small talk with the children helping their parents run the restaurant. I asked them about their school and that's when they told me about PRAGYATA.

Evidently, after the pandemic, a lot of students were displaced from their schools and were unable to return back due to their economic as well as other conditions. That is when the Government, through the supervision of MHRD and NCERT, initiated PRAGYATA Plan Review Arrange Guide Yak (talk) Assign Track Appreciate!

A system where schools found ways to educate students who were incapable of making it to school and promoting education through well-structured and designed electronic courses so as to not keep the children retained to technology for a longer period.

I personally feel that this system introduces a sense of freedom to structure programs for students according to their needs and not force one single academic way onto children. Children are also encouraged to take up personal projects and this in a sense intrigues and motivates children to learn rather than study!
