In Canada, if a foreign student lives in a university arranged accommodation (hostel) then he or she will have to pay in the range about Rs 24000 to 47000 per month depending on the place, the university and the facilities in the hostel. Apart from that for food and other necessities, one will also has to spend about Rs 45000 per month. So on an average total living cost per month comes in the range of Rs 69000 to 92000.
Some students make arrangements for private stay in sharing basis and do self cooking and they can bring down the monthly expenditure figure to Rs 20000 per month.

Even though studying in Canada can be costly, it doesn't have to be prohibitively expensive. Living costs in Canada can differ from as little as Rs 4000 per month to as much as Rs 122000 per month, based on where you reside. One of your largest outgoings will be for accommodation, which can cost between 2400 and Rs 61000 per month based on the location, and food, which can cost between Rs 12000 and Rs 24000 per month. Additional expenses like travel, entertainment, and textbooks can rapidly mount up as well. I know from personal experience that while I was a student in Canada, I paid about Rs 73000 monthly. This provided enough money to pay my rent (Rs 43000/month), groceries (Rs 18000/month), and other incidental expenditures (Rs 12000/month). I also had to account for the cost of my program's materials and instruction, which came to about Rs 30000 annually. Overall, I discovered that while not inexpensive, Canadian living expenses were doable.
