How to get admission into B.Ed additional methodology in distance education mode?

There are many universities in India that are offering B.Ed by distance mode for teachers who are already in service having a minimum of 2 years of experience. The universities will be releasing notifications and interested students should apply against such notifications.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. A teacher who is having a B.Ed only is eligible.

2. The candidate might have studied the subject in which he wanted to BEd in additional methodology in his Undergraduate. For example, if a person wanted to do B.Ed in additional methodology in mathematics should have studied mathematics as a subject in his graduation.

3. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in any government-recognised school. Some universities ask candidates to send applications through the proper channels.

Other details:

1. The course duration will be one year.

2. There will be compulsory contact classes for about 15 days and candidates should attend them.

3. Printed course material will be supplied at the time of admission.

4. Assignments, counselling sessions and Practical work at the school in which the candidate is working are the various ways adopted for teaching,

5. There will be some compulsory records which are to be maintained by the student and should be submitted to the college as and when asked for.
