Introduction
The 2-year Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Product Design and Management (PDM) equips the students with the knowledge to conceptualize, define, and design technology products. It will also help the students to connect them with relevant markets. The PDM program teaches technology trends in software, and design thinking. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India supports this course. The faculty and staff are well qualified and experienced supported staff enriched with knowledge in the subject. Guest faculty will also be called to teach the students.The M.Tech Product Design and Management course at IIIT-Hyderabad combines product design, tech (IT), and business skills. Eligibility Criteria:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology / Design / Science or equivalent (4-year program after 10+2 years) of education (or) Master's degree in Science / Computer Applications (2-year program after 10+2+3 years) of education with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade. At least one year of industry/Internship experience in Product Development.Admission process
The admission will be based on the entrance examination conducted by IIITH. GATE-qualified people need not attend this examination and their GATE score will be considered. The Post Graduate Entrance Exam (PGEE) is a computer-based examination conducted by IIIT-H. The exam will be held in multiple centres across many cities. The interested are advised to refer to the list of centres given on the website of IITH.Interested candidates should apply online by going to the website of the institute.
Fees details
The application fee is Rs.2500/- and the application fee is nonrefundable. The tuition fee per year is Rs.4,00.000/-.Scholarships
GATE/Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) Scholars will get a stipend as per AICTE norms. There is no stipend from the Institute.Placements
