Author: DR.N.V. Srinivasa Rao Post Date: 30 Apr 2023 NEET is a very important examination for students who wanted to pursue their studies in health and its related courses. So, a student should not lose even a single day. Many students start preparing for this examination from the first day of their 11th class. Some parents make their children start preparing for NEET when the child was in 8th class. So, my sincere advice is to start preparation as early as possible but not just a month before. Of course, starting from the 8th class itself is very early and unnecessary tension for the student.
Anyhow all situations are not in our hands and some force majeure situations may arise forcing the student to start preparing for the NEET examination just a few days or a few weeks ahead of the examination. Such students should not lose hope and start preparing well in a planned and structured way with focus and high concentration without getting stressed.
The following are some of the tips, that may help the students in preparing well.
1. Do not refer to many books. Concentrate on NCERT textbooks only. While going through the books keep noting down the important points in a separate notebook. Referring to so many books will make the student get confused.
2. Make a detailed timetable on an hourly basis and plan at least 14 to 16 hours of study. There should be small breaks at least 3 or 4 times. These will help the student to refresh his/her mind.
3. Get some guidance from mentors like your teachers in the institute or some seniors who cleared their NEET just 2 or 3 years before. In case of doubts, you can rely on them and get the doubts cleared.
4. Get some old test papers and model papers and answer them. This will help you in planning your time in the examinations and also make to understand the pattern of questions.
5. While you conduct your revision, do not go for studying the whole chapter. Answer the questions given after each chapter in NCERT books. If you have any doubt in any question the book should be referred to that extent only. That will earn you a lot of time. Even you can go through the notes you prepared instead of going through the whole chapter.
6. Never get stressed. We have to put in all our sincere efforts without worrying about the result. Stress and anxiety will make your mind dull and you cannot think properly. So, try to be as much relaxed as possible. But do not waste time on social media to get relaxed. When you are getting relaxed try to hear some light music which makes you relaxed very well within a short period of time.
7. Focus and dedication are the two important points that will guide you fast to your goal.
Author: Arvind Kuril Post Date: 30 Apr 2023 It is not recommended to prepare for a competitive exam like NEET in just a few days or a few weeks.
NEET is a highly competitive and challenging exam that requires dedicated and consistent preparation over a longer period of time. However, if you have limited time for preparation, here are some tips to make the most of it:
Focus on important topics: Identify the important topics and concepts that have a higher weightage in the NEET exam. Prioritize studying those topics first.
Practice with previous year's papers: Solve previous year's NEET papers to get an idea of the exam pattern and the types of questions asked. This will also help you identify your weak areas.
Make short notes: Create concise notes that summarize important topics and concepts. This will help you revise quickly and effectively.
Solve mock tests: Take mock tests to assess your preparation and identify your strengths and weaknesses. This will also help you improve your time management skills.
Take breaks: Don't study continuously for long hours without taking breaks. Take short breaks in between study sessions to refresh your mind and avoid burnout.
Remember, while these tips can be helpful in preparing for the NEET exam, it is important to give yourself enough time to prepare and not rely on last-minute preparation.
Good luck!
Author: Dev Arora Post Date: 04 May 2023 NEET is considered one of the toughest examinations and its preparation requires patience as well as time with dedicated studies. However, for a candidate with limited time following hacks can work: "NCERT" a bible:For candidates having the meager time or even having ample time prime focus should be on the NCERT books of 11th and 12th standards. Try to read between the lines and work on every question as well as examples. This would not only boost your preparation but also can provide you with enough confidence.
Focus on past trends:If you are short of time and can not go through each and every topic, then get the previous year's paper and try to develop your analysis of the examination papers. Now try to focus on the golden topics and secure your position after that if time is left then cover less important topics.
Improve your grey areas:While learning there are some topics which we see as difficult. Try to focus on them and revise them again and again so that you can improvise your skills and achieve efficiency.
Appear for mock tests:Even a very short time is left, but never avoid the mock tests as without them you would never know what are your weak areas, whether you would be able to complete the examination in the allotted time and many more things.

Hence, in no way we can say that it can be prepared in limited days. However, the aspirants would do better if they chalk out some concrete plans to excel well in the said examination. The following points, if followed sincerely, could help them to sail through this tough test-

In this context, they should not forget NCERT text books for the preparations of the above subjects. In case of any doubt in understanding the real mechanism, they can take the help of their mentors/ teachers proficient in the subjects. In nut shell, understanding the basics of all chapters is the essential requirement.
2) Sitting in the mock tests conducted by established institutions would be much helpful. The teachers of the institutions provide feed back to the aspirants how their preparations are going on apart from their valuable suggestions to achieve better rankings in NEET.
3) Candidates should go through the question sets of last seven to eight years to understand the pattern of the examination. It is better to get their answers of such sets evaluated by competent guides/ mentors.
