This line of learning deals with designing, programming, testing, and maintenance of automated machines and equipments which are being used today in the various industries in a big way. A good job potential exists in this area for the qualified industrial automation persons. The main course for making a good career in industrial automation area is B.Tech in industrial automation which is a 4 years engineering course.
After completing ones 10 + 2 with at least 45% marks one can appear in joint engineering exam like JEE or any other such exam being conducted by any university and compete it successfully for getting admission in industrial automation branch in one of the colleges where it is available.
Those candidates who have completed a diploma in Electronics Engineering or Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering or any similar branch can also apply for B.Tech in industrial automation course through the lateral entry program
