From my knowledge, It's natural for someone to be concerned about the possibility of ragging when they first enrol in a new school. Nonetheless, VIT Vellore has a solid framework in place to avoid and resolve such events. The institute values its students' safety and well-being and has a zero-tolerance policy for ragging.

From what I've heard, In India it's important to note that ragging is a serious problem in many colleges and universities, and it can have severe physical and psychological consequences for the students who are subjected to it. Therefore, VIT Vellore has taken strict measures to prevent ragging and ensure the safety and well-being of its students. It's important for all educational institutions to have a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and take proactive steps to prevent it from happening.

At my University, we had to fill in an anti-ragging affidavit a form with a signature from either of my parents, stating that if I was ever found to be taking part in any activities related to ragging, the university has full rights to suspend me or even take further legal actions if needed. And we had to upload this to the university website, wherein they would also ask questions related to the anti-ragging helpline and other information related to anti-ragging guidelines to make sure that we have an idea of the seriousness of this issue.

As far as I know, VIT management is very strict in case of ragging. One of my relative's daughters is studying there. She tell that rules and regulations are very tight. You can't go outside without permission. Everywhere, the CCTV camera has been fixed for any mishappening. It is a private but reputed institute. Children have no problem in this regard.

Management of VIT Vellore is very strict in the matters if ragging and if a complaint is made then the person who is doing ragging is rusticated from the college. Due to this stringent regulation no student dares to do it.

My sister's daughter has taken admission in B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) at VIT, Vellore in 2022. We have come to know from her that the institute is very strict in this regard. Ragging is completely prohibited. If any student is found to rag his/her junior(s), the student can be rusticated from VIT for this offence.
