BBA is an undergraduate course and the course duration is 3 years. Students who completed their 12th class or any other recognised equivalent course can apply for this course. Generally, the admissions will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

After completing Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) Course, if the student is interested in higher studies there are many courses which will enhance the chances of employment are there. Many jobs for BBA are in private organisations and the corporate offices of these companies will be in metro cities only and many chances will be in metro cities only exist, I feel.

The following are the career prospectus for a BBA candidate.
1. BBA graduates can join banks as officers and clerks. There are many private banks like HDFC and ICICI etc. These private banks prefer BBAs over other graduates. Initially, a candidate will be joining at entry level and based on experience and performance he may be getting promoted to higher positions. If the individual is interested and pursues some additional part-time or online courses related to this field, chances of going to higher positions will be very fast.

2. There are many nonbanking financial companies which may require the services of BBA graduates in different positions. They may need realisation officers, administrative officers etc.

3. Many banks and finace companies appoint BBA candidates as Portfolio executives. Each executive will be attached to a group of customers and he has to take of their needs related to their investments and other financial services.

4. Human Resources Development is a very attractive field these days and almost all companies in the service sector in cities will have a HRD department and this department will take care of Human resources and their development. BBA graduates will be suitable for various positions in this department starting from HR executive to General Manager HRD.

5. BBA graduate with Marketing specialisation will be considered for various positions in sales and marketing. Based on their experience these candidates can be offered various positions. Marketing executive, sales executive, marketing manager, and Market analyst are some of the job roles.
