Introduction
Xavier Institute of Management and Research (XIMR) is a self-financed private management institution under St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. It was established in the year 2006 and offers 2 years full-time Master in Management Studies (MMS) program for the award of this postgraduate degree to the students. There are 61 seats (including 1 seat for J & K) in this MMS course.Eligibility
Candidates applying for admission to the MMS program should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks and also should have a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/MHT-CET exams. Candidates should note that this score is instrumental in making the admission merit list for the selection of candidates.How to Apply
Candidates have to apply online by visiting MHT-CET site and choosing CAP (Centralised Admission Process) counseling. CAP counseling is conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. Candidates having qualified in MHT-CET need not pay the application fee (Rs 1000) but other candidates have to pay it. Application fees can be paid online or offline, both modes. Candidates should fill in all the relevant information in the online form and complete the registration formality. A confirmation email will be sent to them. They can then login to the MHT-CET website to complete other actions like uploading scanned copies of passport-size photographs and signatures (only in jpg or jpeg format). Candidates are advised to take the printout of the completed application form and payment acknowledgment slip and produce it at the time of physical counseling/interview. In addition to the above the candidates have to produce the following documents -1. Allotment Letter of CAP (for CAP candidates).

Time Lines
Maharashtra Combined Entrance Test is generally conducted during the May/June period. Online applications for the MMS program are accepted up to sometime in August month. Admissions would be finalized by September/October and vacant seats, if any, would be advertised on the institute website as well as the institute notice board.
