A career in medicine is an ambition for many youths in India. Higher education in medicine in our country, the most populous of the world is not at all an easy task and a super specialty in this dream profession is more challenging, of course. In my opinion, it would be easy to qualify for NEET SS since the aspirant has already acquainted with the best strategies of prior planning, dedication, confidence, and consistency in cracking competitive exams such as NEET UG and PG. The applicant needs to follow the same preparation strategies to crack NEET UG and PG a little bit from a wider perspective.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test SS (NEET SS) is a qualifying examination for various super specialty courses, such as DM in Cardiology, Nephrology, etc., (Doctor of Medicine) and MCh in Urology, Pediatric Surgery, Gastroenterology, etc., (Master of Chirurgiae). NEET SS has been conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) throughout India. Candidates with specializations or PG in the field of medicine like MD or MS in Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Anaesthesia, Surgery, etc. are eligible to apply for the NEET SS 2023. The registration process has already been initiated on 27th July 2023 and the closing date will be 16th August.

The National Board of Examinations has been the organizing committee for the NEET SS 2023. The applicants will register for application up until 11:55 PM of 16 August 2023 according to the information brochure issued by the NBE. The NEET SS 2023 will be held on the 9th and the 10th of September 2023 and the mode of exam will be computer-based for which candidates need to answer 100 MCQ-type questions.
