Author: Raveena Madhubalan Post Date: 25 Apr 2023 The CFA Institute has changed its eligibility criteria for the CFA exam, introducing stricter standards for those hoping to take the test. The major changes include an additional requirement for university education, a minimum of 48 months of relevant work experience for Levels II and III, as well as an increase in fees for the exams and the CFA Program enrollment.
As daunting as all this may seem, from my personal experience, I can tell you that the new eligibility criteria make the CFA credential more attractive. For example, having a degree will increase your chances of success when it comes to the exam, while the increased fee is indicative of the value and excellent reputation associated with the CFA® Program.
Overall, it is important to understand that although the new eligibility criteria may seem more complicated, they will help you become more competitive and ensure you gain the necessary knowledge and experience to succeed in the CFA Program.
I hope this helps you make an informed decision on the CFA exam and gives you the confidence to move forward with your dreams of achieving this prestigious qualification. Good luck!
