The last date for submission of application either in person or by speed post is 22 June 2023. The application fee is Rs.1000/-. It is to be paid in the form of a bank DD taken in favour of Director AIIMS Bhopal payable at Bhopal. There is no application fee for reserved categories.
The filled-in application along with DD should be submitted to the registrar, Academic Block, AIIMS, Bhopal, Saket Nagar, Bhopal. MP 462020.
I advise the candidates to ensure the proper filling of the application. If any candidate has not filled out the application completely and if any wrong information is given the application will be rejected and in no case, the paid fee will not be returned back. I suggest taking all necessary care in reading the brochure and understanding the points properly. Then only a candidate can fill out the application correctly, I feel.
The candidates who are in service should send their applications through the proper channel. If any objection is received from the employer the application will be rejected during any stage of selection.
Candidates working in any government establishment or public sector undertaking or autonomous bodies can be sponsored by their departments. They can be sponsored using a single code only. Such candidates will not be paid any stipend during the course period. These sponsored candidates should submit their sponsoring certificate in original along with their application. These candidates should stay full-time in the institute during the first year of the PhD programme.

Candidates who are from Non-Medical streams should have MSc (Other than M.Sc. Nursing) MTech & BAMS with a 55% score
Category A: This is for the students who will get the stipend from a Project. The selection of these candidates will be carried out based on the written test and personal interview that will be conducted by AIIMS, Bhopal. The duration of the written test is 120 minutes and people who get a minimum of 50% marks in this test will be called for an interview. The written test and interview will be on the same date. Candidates are advised to visit the site of AIIMS Bhopal for the date and other details.
Category B: this is for the students who are already having a fellowship of their own or sponsored candidates. These candidates need not attend the written test but they have to attend the personal interview. The selection will be on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the interview.

Duration of the course:
The course duration is a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 5 years. The duration can be extended by another 6 months if the same is approved by the concerned authorities. In exceptional cases, it may be extended by another 6 months based on the recommendations of the doctoral committee.Contact:
