This is the right time to apply for management courses for the 2023 academic session at PTVA's Institute of Management, Mumbai as they have published their admission notification in leading newspapers.
Here's some quick info for you- Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association's Institute of Management (PTVAIM) is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and has got a NAAC certification of B++ Grade.
PTVAIM online reviews of students who have pursued their management courses here have spoken well of the faculty as well as of the non-teaching staff. The placements are fairly good, and the institute offers internship opportunities, too. A few of the major recruiters have been Deloitte, Tata AIG General Insurance Company, Bisleri International, etc.
Coming to the courses, PTVA's Institute of Management offers the following AICTE-approved programs in management education-
1. Master of Management Studies (MMS) – 2-year course.
2. MBA on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (MBA-IEV) – 2-year course.
3. MMS – Financial Management – a 3-year, part-time program for working executives.
Eligibility for the above: You should have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% in the qualifying exam (for reserved category candidates, the requirement is min. 45%) or an equivalent CGPA. You also need to have a valid CET score, such as MAH-MBA/MMS-CET or CAT or CMAT or ATMA, or MAT.
The areas in which you can specialize are Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, and HR.
You can also apply for a Ph.D. program in Management which is a minimum of three years and should be completed within a maximum of 6 years from the date of admission.
Eligibility: Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) in Management conducted by the University of Mumbai or SET/NET/JRF exam or an M.Phil. Degree from a recognized university. You also have to appear for an interview once the PET results are declared.

On campus
Although the WiFi-enabled campus of PTVAIM is not too large, it does have the requisite facilities, including a computer lab, classrooms equipped with whiteboards & projectors, a library & resource center, a gym, and a canteen. Students can enjoy indoor games, namely, carom, chess, and table tennis, and the institute uses the nearby grounds of the Parle Sports Academy for cricket.
