Sasmira's Business School is located in Mumbai and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra. It was established in 2018. It has announced admission to the two-year full-time PG Diploma in Management (PGDM) with dual specialization. The major specialization is in business analytics, finance, marketing, and human resource. The minor specialization is in international business operations, retail management, rural management, sports management, mass media and entertainment, banking financial services and insurance, data science and analytics, real estate, event management, etc.
Apart from the above PGDM programs, it conducts value-added short-term certification courses to make the students industry-ready. It also offers a Ph.D. program to eligible candidates for doing research in the area of management. For organizations, industries, and corporates, it offers customized management development courses or training to a batch of professionals or workers.
The institute claims to have a distinguished faculty pool, national & international affiliations, and a strong placement record. It ranked 6th in the emerging B-School category in 2022 as per Times of India. I have visited their website and found that some leading industrial names are mentioned as their recruiters. Some of these are ITC, Tata, J. P. Morgan, Bajaj, Kotak, HDFC Bank, ICICI Securities, Amul, Vivo, Crisil, Godrej, etc.
Eligibility: Candidates having a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability) can apply for this program. They should also be qualified in any of the entrance examinations like CAT / MH-CET / CMAT / GMAT / MAT / ATMA or any equivalent exam conducted by an approved authority.
Application process: Interested candidates have to visit the institute's website and click on the admission menu and then click on apply now tab and get the details of the admission process for the PGDM program. Candidates can apply for the course online or collect physical application forms from the institute in Mumbai. They have to upload the following documents along with the application -
