Shanmugha Arts Science Technology and Research Academy (SASTRA), known generally as Sastra University is a reputed Deemed to be University in Tamil Nadu. The university has announced a quick Spot Admissions session on 17th June 2023 at its Chennai campus. The schedule is as follows-
Date: 17th June 2023 (tomorrow).
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The UG courses offered at the Chennai campus are-
Fee: The fee that you pay per semester for all these UG courses is Rs. 40,000/- (confirm the fee for the 4th year if you choose to continue and get the Honours Degree).
Eligibility: Passed the Class 12 (10+2) exam recognized by any State Board/Central Board or any other accepted by the Sastra University as an equivalent exam. Please refer to the official website or contact the admissions officials to know if there are any specific subject requirements at the Class 12 level, and the minimum percentage score required as these details do not seem to be mentioned on the official website of the Chennai campus.
M.B.A.
This is offered with a minor specialisation in Data Sciences, SCM, Strategy, Marketing, etc.
Fee: The fee that you pay per semester is Rs. 60,000/-.
Eligibility: While a Bachelor's Degree (it should be of a 3-year course) is acceptable, CAT/XAT/AIMAT/CMAT/AIMCAT scores will be highly advantageous, as students with these valid scores will be given preference.
M.Sc. AI and Data Sciences
Fee: The fee that you pay per semester is Rs. 30,000/-.
Eligibility: A valid UG degree from a recognized university, such as B.Sc. (Maths) or B.Sc.(Computer)or a BCA or any other related discipline.
Closing date for 2023 Chennai UG and PG programs: As of now, admissions are ongoing, with no last date specified.
Benefits of Ph.D. programs: You will be offered an attractive monthly stipend, and a relevant Research Associateship (RA) or Teaching Assistantship (TA) as applicable. You will be under the mentorship of a qualified Guide and get access to all the campus facilities.

Additional fees: At the time of admission, for all programs you have to pay an admission fee of Rs.7,000/- along with a development fee of Rs.10,000/-. Other fees, such as hostel and mess, will be as applicable.

2023-24 Sastra University Chennai Courses
Undergraduate programs
These are 4-year Honours programs with an early exit option. That is, you can graduate at the end of the third year on meeting all the eligible credit requirements. If you choose to continue with the additional Honours option, you will be doing additional courses as all as an internship and a practicum, and, best of all, you will get a stipend for these.The UG courses offered at the Chennai campus are-
