Author: Drupad Madhavan Post Date: 28 Apr 2023 In my opinion, studying a PG abroad is better just due to one factor, your age. Usually, people tend to do their PG right after their UG or take a 2-3 year break while they work for experience as well as skills. Either one works as after you UG, you get the first-hand experience of the college/university lifestyle and by the end of it, you would have become very good at adapting to this lifestyle. Being mature also means thinking about things such as finance and career. And this will help in orienting towards a better PG life abroad rather than a UG life.
Of course, this depends on people but I personally felt that the UG period was to explore life and learn more non-academic life skills. Like how you interact with people, manage time, find your field, etcetera. And this can also be done abroad, however, a student doing UG abroad will definitely be under some financial pressure and this means that the individual cannot live freely without the thought. PG on the other hand is very well career oriented and there is an end goal that can persuade such thoughts to go away.
Hence, just due to these reasons of age and financial pressure, I would suggest you do a PG abroad. If you come from a financially secure background, you definitely have the freedom to do your UG abroad without any tension. Youth must not be wasted away, live freely when you're young and make sure you help yourself to create such healthy situations. All the best!
Author: Raveena Madhubalan Post Date: 30 Mar 2023 Considering whether to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree abroad depends on a variety of elements, in my personal experience. You can discover a new culture, pick up a new language, and extend your horizons by pursuing a UG degree overseas. In today's global work environment, it can also help you develop relevant skills and exposure to other cultures. But, UG-level study abroad programs can be pricey, and they might not give you the same level of expertise as a PG degree.
On the other side, getting a graduate degree overseas can be a fantastic way to hone your talents in a certain area, broaden your professional network, and gain advanced information. Gaining a competitive edge on the job market and expanding your professional options is possible with a postgraduate degree from a reputable foreign university. Nonetheless, PG programs can be very rigorous and intense, necessitating considerable time and financial commitment. The choice to pursue a UG or PG degree overseas should ultimately be based on your personal choices, financial position, career ambitions, and hobbies. Before choosing a choice, it's critical to explore various colleges and programs, speak with current and former students, and balance the advantages and disadvantages.
Author: Abichandh AD Post Date: 06 Apr 2023 When I first considered studying abroad, I was torn between pursuing a UG or PG degree. After doing some research, I ultimately decided that a PG degree was the right choice for me. I found that a postgraduate degree would give me a competitive edge in the job market, as employers often prefer candidates with more extensive qualifications. Furthermore, I was able to pursue a specialized course of study that I wouldn't have been able to find at home. Having the opportunity to experience life in a foreign country was also a major plus, as I was able to explore a new culture and meet people from all over the world. Ultimately, studying for a PG degree abroad was the best decision I ever made, as it opened up so many new doors for me.
