I like to share my experience with you all.

I have submitted my PhD thesis for adjudication. This was in 1982. The thesis was sent to three adjudicators. One adjudicator should be from a foreign university and my thesis was sent to a University in Australia. The adjudicator was very much impressed with the work presented and offered me a fellowship in his department. But I have to purchase tickets to go and some other expenditures were involved. The amount required is Rs10,000/- but I did not have that money and I could not use the offer.

But today the situation is different and there are many scholarships who wanted to go abroad and study there. So many students are able to pursue their studies abroad.

The Indian government is offering many scholarships to students who are wanted to go abroad for higher studies.

I would like to share with you the story of my friend, who was successful in getting a scholarship to study overseas. She had always desired to pursue her ambition of studying abroad, but she was concerned about the cost of living.

She began by researching the scholarships and grants that were accessible to students from abroad. She discovered that several institutions and organisations that were devoted particularly to overseas students gave scholarships.

She then began assembling the components of her application. In her application, she took sure to highlight her accomplishments in school, outside interests, and volunteer work. She also requested letters of recommendation and input on her application from her instructors and mentors.
She also made careful to apply early and meet all application deadlines for the scholarships she was considering. She had more time to polish her application as a result, and she became known as a serious and hardworking student.

Finally, She was able to get a scholarship that helped with both her living and tuition costs. She was ecstatic to be given the chance to study abroad and get global experience without having to worry about the financial load.

Studying Abroad is a topic which always made me anxious. It felt like such a big and courageous step, leaving my parents and friends to pursue an academic mission in a distant and faraway land. But after my recent research, I found out how good of an opportunity it is to travel abroad and attain academic excellence as well as experience different cultures. Not just the experience, but the opportunities after the culmination of the course, such as placements can help you build a better career and hence a better future.

I would suggest that you finalize a destination for your education and then find all the universities that offer the course in which you plan to enrol. Filter out these universities further depending on your needs, and then check the universities for scholarships. Some countries offer scholarships for international students and you can apply for them via the right channels. I would advise that you contact an overseas education agency as they have the right experience as well as resources and can give you one-on-one assistance.

I hope you find the proper assistance and get a good scholarship for the course you choose. All the best!
